Rapid Estrogen Activity Tests In Vivo (REACTIV)

The REACTIV test is inspired from OECD Guidelines No, 229, 230 and 234: equivalent to a level 3 test.
Tests are performed on whole organisms (Medaka eggs), exposed in vitro for 24h.
Alternative method replacing animal testing. Performed at an early eleuthero-embryonic stage.

The OECD classifies endocrine disruption according to 5 levels described in Guidance Document 150. The higher the level is, the stronger the weight of evidence.
